Evelyn McFarlane
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Evelyn McFarlane graduated in architecture from Cornell University. After some years of teaching, she decides to follow her heart, starting a career as a painter. Therefore she enrolled in a triennial painting course at the Florence Academy of Art, directed by Daniel Graves.
Art and the Renaissance architecture are the great passions of Evelyn McFarlane, disciplines that she teaches in several universities and at some institutions that have as their purpose the learning of humanist culture and Renaissance. Evelyn McFarlane currently lives and works in Florence, where she’s part of the Community of Artists of Art Space. She’s also co-author of a series of texts entitled “If…Questions for the game of life”.
